Gluten is a protein found in wheat which helps create the elastic texture of dough.
Why should you eliminate gluten for 7 days?
Gluten is one of the most common foods people react to. The reactions can be subtle and you may not realize them if you are constantly eating foods with gluten. In order to figure out if you have a sensitivity towards gluten, you must stop eating it for a few days to give your body a break without it and then re-introduce it.
What does is feel like if you have a gluten sensitivity?
Gluten sensitivity is personal depending one each person but it may include: fatigue, skin issues, bloating, emotional issues, headaches, stomach pain, gas, brain fog, etc.
What are some foods that have gluten?
Anything with wheat, rye, barley, couscous, farro, bread, pasta, muffins, cakes, crackers, sauces (ie. BBQ & teriyaki) - anything where flour is used as a thickener.
What is dairy?
Dairy includes all products produced from the milk of mammals
(cows, goats, sheep, camels, and water buffaloes).
